zu der "kleinen Begebenheit" von gestern:

Ich habe mich sehr über die Kommentare gefreut, die zu der "kleinen Begebenheit" eingegangen sind (siehe: http://taximann-juergen.blogspot.com/2011/10/eine-kleine-begebenheit-heute-vorab.html) als auch über mehrfache direkte Ansprache und Nachfrage zu dieser Anekdote.

Damit auch das Hotel selbst nicht ganz im Dunklen bleibt, habe ich mich entschlossen, dem Manager für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit den link zu meinem blog zu senden ('info.duesseldorf@renaissancehotels.com').

Nachfolgend noch eine weitere bemerkenswerte mail einer blog-Leserin, die daraufhin an den gleichen Adressaten ging:

I just read this on a well known blog of a well known taxi driver in our city – well, not only a taxi driver, but also a man who is involved in the media business and writes his blog for fun. As long as it is fun. Sometimes it is not. -link-
As I consider you might not speak german, I translate it for you in short:
Mr. Koll brought a hotel guest to the Renaissance Düsseldorf, who was not able to pay his taxi bill, because he had only english pound and a non-working credit card in his wallet. While he was waiting for the lady at the reception to change some money for your hotel guest, he took first one, then a second of the delicious little candys presented on the desk – two of about 250 of them. The receptionist took the bowl away, reasoning harshly that these were for guests only and too expensive to be given to taxi drivers.
So far so bad.
As I wrote before, the blog is read by quite a number of people in our city. I am working in advertising and quite often I am asked to recommend hotels – for customers or in printed brochures.
Should I take the Renaissance Düsseldorf out completely or do you think, a warning not to go there by taxi would be enough?
